So, I tasted some Poca Roja tomatoes, today. They probably weren't the first ripe ones (but they were the first I had knowingly tasted). They were larger than expected! I grew Big Sungold Select in 2016, and the fruits were somewhat smaller (still cherry sized, sort of). Poca Roja has fruits larger than a cherry. The plant is big and healthy; and it looks productive, with many flowers per truss. The taste was completely different from that of Big Sungold Select. It was indeed sweeter, and had more of a red tomato taste. But, I liked it, a lot! :) It's a favorite for taste, this year. I definitely want to grow it again next year.
