So, I got some magnesium chloride powder to take as a supplement a year to three ago. I tried it a few times, but it didn't have positive effects, particularly, and it did have negative ones (not severe negative ones). Plus, it was super bitter. I think I thought I was taking the right amount based on some instructions I had read, but on further research and trying it again, today, I think I was taking too much, and that's why it wasn't helping. This site gives me to know that the dosage for normal adults is about an eighth of a teaspoon or less depending on your sex (if it weighs about the same as sugar, anyhow, which I think it does): www.rxlist.com/consumer_magnesium_chloride/drugs-condition.htmSo, I tried an amount like that, and it was a very different experience. It felt healthy, and it actually tasted good (kind of like milk), instead of super bitter! So, if it's quite bitter, you're probably taking too much. I think taking that much every day is probably still too much for me, though. (Either that or another kind of magnesium would be better, such as Epsom salt absorbed through the skin.)
