This thread is for discussion regarding the Joe's Long pepper variety. A few days ago, I think the hose almost severed my Joe's Long pepper. I was pretty sad. It was dying (wilting), so I removed it the rest of the way, and converted it into several cuttings, which I'm attempting to root in water with wood ash in it. Last I checked, it didn't have roots, but a cutting did set at least one fruit (I believe after the cuttings were taken). The cuttings stopped wilting within a couple days or so. I was glad. Here's a picture of the cuttings from earlier today. As you can see, the wood ash settled at the bottom of the container. I'm hoping the original plant grows back from the stump, too.
