I've noticed this year that wonderberries are prolific reseeders. I've found quite a few of them. They're also quite hardy, early, and prolific in our semi-arid, northern climate. They don't match the Wikipedia description, in my mind. The plants definitely can get taller than two feet. The fruits aren't bland. I start mine early as I do with tomatoes (instead of sowing them in summer). So, last Saturday or so, I noticed a volunteer wonderberry plant growing in my neighbor's flower garden. I'm pretty sure we don't have wild black nightshade around here (so, it must have spread from my plants).
