Since there's a Monoprice ad on my screen (probably because I visited Monoprice recently to try to find a device to make a Roku player play on a regular VGA computer monitor), I was reminded of the fact that I've purchased some headphones and headphone splitters from Monoprice.com before. I wanted to let you know about how much I like a certain quality of the headphones:
The cord detaches (and is replaceable). This quality can extend the life and safety of a set of headphones a lot. Let me check when I got these. I got them around Christmastime in 2016. So, it's been almost two years, now; so, they're not that old, but they're older than most I've had by the time they've broken.
Anyway, I'm not advertising a set of headphones to you. I just wanted to point out that headphones with detachable cords exist. Monoprice does have some pretty good deals on some things, though.
Of course, you can get cordless headphones (including bluetooth headphones), which may be battery powered or rechargeable, but I don't tend to want to worry about whether my headphones have sufficient power to operate.
