I picked my first ripe wonderberry, on July 4th, for this year. I'm not sure when I transplanted them offhand, but it was probably near the end of May (maybe the middle).
It tasted like watermelon, but maybe not as sweet.
I got three more ripe berries, on July 5th.
I grew them last year, too. They tasted like sour watermelon last year.
