I've come up with an interesting pasta sauce that I like for spaghetti noodles. It involves cheese melted with brown sugar, ginger and Maggi seasoning. I usually melt it into the noodles instead of making it separately. It's got a unique taste, but makes a hearty meal without the need for meat.
You can add a surprising amount of ginger.
