Here's the update on my 2018 tomato plants. (For an older history of it, see this thread on Gardenweb.)
To recap, I transplanted 65 tomatoes. Since then, I've transplanted four more (all Husky Cherry Red F5's from the indeterminate F4 last year). We got more volunteers, including in a 4-gallon bucket (that one is about ready to fruit).
My plants are a lot bigger, now, and many of the plants have quite a few fruit, although no ripe ones, yet. Some of my favorites (so far) include these:
• Frosty F. House
• Cougar Red
• Gold Dust
• Jaune Flammée
• Heatwave II F1
• Tigerella
• Galapagos Island x probably Sugar Lump
• Husky Cherry Red F5 (the one with rugose foliage that looks awesome)
• Stick
• New Yorker V
Anyway, it turns out that one of my volunteer tomatoes appears to be Menehune. It's got one fruit set and a whole lot of flowers.
Aunt Mary's Paste and Oroma are both getting fruits with blossom end rot—but I'm leaving them on the vine, since fruits with BER ripen faster, and I'm anxious to get some ripe fruit. Oroma has curling leaves but is setting quite a few fruit.
Earliana has a huge plant—much larger than North Dakota Earliana. That may be because I put worm casting juice in that area when I was first starting the seeds, though. All the plants in that area are larger.
Marmande is recovering from its initial challenge with the soil (and being burned by fertilizer). Super Marmande is much bigger and is setting fruit well.
Jaune Flammée has much larger fruit than I realized. I thought it was a cherry, but I guess it's a 4oz tomato. I would have grown it sooner had I realized that (I think)!
New Yorker V has a lot of fruit. Coldset has more foliage than New Yorker V, and a later fruit set, but I think it may overtake it eventually.
The Mountain Princess and Sub Arctic Plenty plants are doing quite well.
Tatura set fruit recently. I'm excited about it, since it tasted so awesome last year.
Stick has unripe fruit that are much darker green than with most breeds. The plants have lots of flowers.
The Domingo plants are still fairly small.
Some plants have about 20 to 30 fruits, so far. Most probably have between 1 and 15 fruits.
Gurney Girl's Best F1 has about 6 fruit. The first three are a good size.
Bush Champion II F1 has the largest fruit.
Millet's Dakota is setting significantly more fruit (it had just two or three for quite a while, but they were bigger than most).
Fahrenheit Blues has some blue fruit (well, ultraviolet, really), and it looks like it's about to get bigger.
