We've grown Stanley prune-plums around here with good success. They bear heavily and reliably. They can get disease, though, and ours didn't live a very long time. A local friend of mine today highly recommended the Santa Rosa plum (which isn't a prune-plum, and isn't freestone, but he likes it a lot). He also recommended Corno Di Toro peppers (for eating), and La Roma III F1 tomatoes (for canning). [HASH]recommendations [HASH]tomato [HASH]pepper
