My first ripe tomato this year (of my 65 main plants) is my Galapagos Island cross. It turns out, it's still yellow. It seems to have a sweeter taste than the original, too. The original had lighter green leaves and flat leaves with probably a smaller plant. Well, the tomato wasn't entirely ripe, but it was ripe enough to eat, and it tasted good. It likely would have been normally ripe tomorrow. It had 29 seeds, which I'm saving. I'd plant some this year (for another generation of acclimatization), but it's too hot for normal tomatoes to sprout right now, and I don't want fluorescent lights on in the house. I get the impression that the cross isn't as early as the original Galapagos Island, but it still beat my other tomatoes.
