Your rank will change every 1, 10, 50, or 100 posts, until you reach the highest rank. The number of stars may change, but currently, the color of the stars should remain the same, no matter your rank.
Ranks consist of mostly random fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices, as well as a few other things. Allspice is currently the highest rank (at 2,000 posts).
Moderators and admins receive rankings according to the number of posts they make, too (although if your ranking happens to be higher than an admin's, this does not automatically make you an admin or anything like that).
