So, I tried a kohlrabi flower stalk, today, and it was good (and sweet)! It was tender a number of inches or so down the stalk (the stalk was long), and fibrous below that (but still tasty). I'm pleased at how edible this plant is. The breed I tasted was Early Purple Vienna.
