Based on my experiences with white mulberries and other supplements (I've been into herbs, supplements and stuff for most of my life), I've recently formed a hypothesis (an educated guess) about white mulberries.
I've long noticed that when I eat white mulberries, there seems to be a vapor that comes forth from the berries as I chew them, and fills my mouth, nasal passages, and throat. This and the white mulberries feel pretty good, and seem to have numerous benefits in and of themselves. However, I've recently taken to chewing up vitamins and herbs with the white mulberries.
My hypothesis (based on how it feels when I do so) is that chewing up supplements along with white mulberries causes them to be absorbed and/or utilized better by the body.
I've experimented with vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) and the herb called sage in this regard, and it seems to intensify and/or improve their effects.
It should be noted that white mulberries may interact with some other herbs. I've noticed that black mulberry fruit seems to me to interfere with the action of white mulberry fruit (not particularly the action I'm hypothesizing about here, but other effects of them that I've noticed insofar as how they affect me).
Edit (May 2019): I'm not convinced it does boost supplement absorption/use particularly, but I do admit it's a potentiality.
