Coldset is looking quite nice in the hot, dry conditions (the humidity is low and I haven't been watering a lot), with black plastic (much better than average). It's setting a good amount of fruit, and they're getting to a good size (bigger than New Yorker V, Mountain Princess, and Manitoba fruits that set previously). The foliage is still growing well in the heat/drought compared to other varieties. However, it may have more wood ash in the ground than some (we burned weeds/branches around there somewhere), but I could be wrong. Whatever the case, I like it.
