Rinsing the foliage of my indoor Candlelight pepper seems to promote flowering. In the past, after fruiting, it would just sit there until I pruned it (and then it would grow foliage and flowers). This time, I harvested all the peppers, and then rinsed the foliage (to clear off any spider mites) and it quite perked up and started flowering again. So, I've been rinsing it every other day (not for the spider mites, but for the flowers). Of course, maybe something else changed over time with its maturity, but I have a feeling this helped.
