I got two ripe chichiquelite, today. The plants were still tiny (a few inches tall). The berries were also tiny. The taste was okay, and somewhat sweet, but I prefer the taste of wonderberries. I hate to say it, but I wouldn't be surprised if this were toxic, too (I just made a post on Otricoli Orange berries and speculated as to how I think they might be toxic; I don't think Chichiquelite would be as toxic if it be toxic, though). I didn't save seeds. So, previous to growing these, I had heard that they were bigger, more productive and maybe even sweeter than wonderberries. I'm afraid none of those things were true for me, this year. Wonderberries are like the ultimate plant for my area (except that only occasional people like myself enjoy them much). aluminum iodide
